When talking about client and supplier relationships, I always refer to Berner.

Berner is the founder of Cookies, a franchise which connects farmers and customers.

Berner success can be contributed to relationships. How do you sustain client relationships or supplier relationships?

Tips we can learn from Berner.

1. Always make time for your suppliers | clients

- This can be achieved through calls or client visits occasionally. I know we all live in a global village but always make time to connect with your local customers.

- I recently had a physical meet up with Mr. Tony *Founder of Drone Space Kenya (Drone Space Training) and we had a good talk on how we can implement good CRM systems on following on website leads.

- This could not have happened if I was busy with my "schedule".

- Visiting your clients not only establishes a solid relationship but also opens you up to new solutions to some existing problems.

2. Like your clients social media handles

- Always make an effort to leave a like , comment or follow button on your clients pages. Support their brand consistently. This is how you get referrals.

3. Have a recurring product

- In my case, web hosting is a recurring product. I always host my clients at www.mickhosting.com . This allows me to be able to monitor their websites at ease and keep them updated on any critical issues they may be facing.

- Acting as the main contact person in your brand shows authority and reliability.

4. Follow up on pending messages

- I have this rule of following up after one day. It shows you are invested in the clients brand. Just send a message or call if necessary. Make sure you have no pending messages or unanswered emails.

Thanks.
